The Government in Rajasthan is set to introduce a New Policy on Pumped Storage Projects to boost Renewable Energy. Eight sites with a combined capacity of 7,100 MW have been identified. Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma emphasized that the policy will attract investment, protect the environment, and support the state’s energy self-reliance.
