Queensland will invest AU$25 million in a New Flow Battery Factory utilizing iron electrolyte technology, being built by Energy Storage Industries (ESI). The factory, set for late 2026, aims for an initial capacity of 200MW/1,600MWh, expandable to 400MW/3,600MWh by 2029. This investment attracts an additional AU$ 40 million from a UK fund, bolstering Queensland's clean energy industry.
