Qcells Starts 3.5 GW Solar Cell Production at $2.5 Billion Georgia Facility

Qcells has started producing silicon solar cells at its $2.5 billion integrated manufacturing facility in Cartersville, Georgia, marking a major milestone for U.S. solar manufacturing. The plant is expected to reach its full 3.5 GW cell production capacity by Q3 2026, becoming the largest operating solar cell factory in the United States.
