PX Group and SoHHytec, an EPFL spin-off, have launched a pilot project to produce renewable hydrogen directly at industrial sites using solar energy. The system combines artificial solar trees with parabolic reflectors that concentrate sunlight onto a photoelectrochemical reactor, generating hydrogen from water.
