SECI issued a show-cause notice to Reliance Power and its arm, Reliance NU BESS, for submitting fake bank guarantees in tender bids. SECI found that a submitted bank guarantee from FirstRand Bank was counterfeit. Reliance Power claims to be a victim of fraud and has filed a complaint with Delhi Police.
