Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) has invited bids for a 500 MW/1000 MWh standalone Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project to strengthen the state’s electricity grid, improve stability, and manage peak power demand. The tariff-based global competitive bidding process requires an RfS fee of INR 50,000, bid processing fee of INR 3,00,000, Earnest Money Deposit of INR 4,71,000 per MW, and a Performance Bank Guarantee of INR 11,77,500 per MW.
