The benchmark reserve of AU $2,30,000 MW annually means the 57% increase in prices. The BRCP is slightly above the initial ruling prices which stood at AU$354000/MW. The Benchmark is said to provide peak capacity at the lowest annual capital cost & annual fixed operating system. This year changed to 160 MW open gas turbines peaking generators to 200MW/800MW lithium battery storage with connector.
