POWERGRID has invited bids for a 265 MW/530 MWh standalone Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Haryana under the Tariff Based Competitive Bidding route. The project, Package HR-BESS-01, aims to strengthen grid flexibility, reliability and renewable energy integration. Tender document sales began August 24, 2026, with purchases allowed until August 29.
