The California port has passed draft of 70MW BESS proposed by Pier S Energy Storage LLC. The project site will be located in Pier S Lane. The initial Study has significant impacts which has mitigation measures. The project is proposed to allocate 200 metal containers containing lithium-ion battery grid.
