As of December 3, 2025, the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana (PMSG: MBY) has installed rooftop solar systems in 23,96,497 households, achieving 23.96% of its one crore household target by FY 2026-27. The demand-driven scheme allows residential consumers with grid connections to apply via the National Portal.
