Plug Power has secured a 275 MW electrolyser contract from Hy2gen Canada for a green hydrogen-based ammonium nitrate plant in Quebec. Using Hydro-Québec’s renewable power, the project targets 480,000 tonnes annual output. With FEED underway, final investment decision is expected in 2027 and operations by 2030, marking one of Plug’s largest deals.
