UK based Root Power gets planning permission for the capacity of 50 MW/100 MWh BESS in Glasgow. The facility will be built near Ibrox Stadium. In September, Root-Power filed planning applications for 6 other BESS projects across the UK with a combined capacity of 315 MW. The schemes are planned to be installed in North Yorkshire, Devon, Derbyshire, Bedfordshire, & Gloucester.
