The Public Investment Board (PIB) approved the 1,720 MW Kamala Hydroelectric Project in Arunachal Pradesh, costing ₹26,000 crore, developed by NHPC Ltd and the state government. Funded with a 70:30 debt-equity ratio, it includes ₹1,340 crore for infrastructure and ₹4,744 crore for flood moderation, plus full SGST reimbursement.
