State-owned PFC has secured a 120 billion Japanese yen loan facility from the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC), marking the largest green financing deal with an Indian company. Under the agreement, JBIC will provide JPY 72 billion, with the remainder funded by commercial banks. The funds will support PFC’s Renewable Energy portfolio, aiding India's transition to non-fossil-fuel energy.
