Patel Engineering Limited has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) for a ₹1,593.08 crore contract for the 669 MW Lower Arun Hydropower Project in Nepal, awarded by SJVN Lower Arun Power Development Company Pvt Ltd. The contract includes civil and hydro-mechanical works such as tunnels, shafts, powerhouse, and switchyard.
