Orsted has reached a legal agreement with developers of the 1.5GW Mona and 1.5GW Morgan Offshore wind farms (JERA Nex, BP, and EnBW) to mitigate projected wake effects impacting its nearby Irish Sea assets, including Burbo Bank. Orsted had objected due to potential production losses. The deal led to Orsted withdrawing objections and confirming Mona meets consent requirements.
