Orsted and Eversource Energy have installed the first turbine for the 704MW Revolution Wind project off Rhode Island and Connecticut. The project, using 65 Siemens Gamesa turbines, will produce 704MW of clean power—400MW for Rhode Island and 304MW for Connecticut—enough for over 350,000 homes. It is creating 1,200 jobs and advancing local clean energy efforts.
