Renewable developer Ampyr Australia has secured equity stake at 1GWh Wellington BESS in New South Wales in Australia. Its parent company is backed by infrastructure company Stonepeak where capacity has been divided into two stages with one with 300MW/600MWh and second additional 100MW/400MW with 4 hours duration in BESS.
