Oriana Power secured two MSEDCL Letters of Award to build 900 MW/1800 MWh Battery Energy Storage Systems across Maharashtra, valued at Rs 3,870 crore, covering 45 percent of MSEDCL's 2000 MW/4000 MWh tender. Projects include 500 MW/1000 MWh linked to MSETCL substations at Rs 2,38,000 per MW per month (Rs 2,142 crore) and 400 MW/800 MWh at MSEDCL substations at Rs 2,40,000 per MW per month (Rs 1,728 crore), both for 15 years under BESPA, awarded via e-reverse auction with Viability Gap Funding, expecting Rs 324 crore support excluding GST.
