Ontario’s Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO) has awarded contracts for 14 renewable energy projects totaling over 1.3 GW under the Long-Term 2 (LT2) procurement program. The portfolio includes 12 solar and 2 wind projects, with 20-year agreements and expected commissioning by 2030. Major projects include 200 MW each from Dunns Valley Solar, Gichigami Wind, and Northern Breeze Wind.
