India’s Oil and Natural Gas Corp. (ONGC) is exploring a major $8.3 billion Refinery and Petrochemical project in Uttar Pradesh to meet rising fuel demand. The project, potentially producing 9 million tons annually, could benefit from existing land held by Bharat Petroleum Corp. (BPCL). BPCL is also considering site options, favoring Andhra Pradesh for its incentives.
