AES Andes has launched a 211 MW Solar PV Project in Antofagasta, Chile, featuring the largest lithium-based Battery Storage System in Latin America at 130 MW. This initiative is part of a larger Solar hub with 667 MW of Solar and 259 MW of Batteries. The company aims for over 1,600 MW of operational batteries by 2027, enhancing its commitment to the Energy transition.
