Hunan Zhongke Electric Co. is investing $1.1 billion to establish Oman's first lithium-ion battery anode materials plant at Sohar Port and Freezone. The project, aligned with Oman’s Vision 2040, aims to support EV supply chains and industrial growth. The factory will produce 100,000 tonnes of anode materials annually, rolling out in two three-year phases.
