Oman is advancing its energy transition by procuring 1,600 MW of renewable capacity, including solar and wind projects. Nama PWP, the country’s electricity and water buyer, is leading the procurement, covering the 450–500 MW Al Kamil Phase I solar IPP and three wind projects in Mahoot, Duqm, and Sadah totaling nearly 1,100 MW.
