The unit operates a lithium-ion cell plant in Tamil Nadu with 1.5 GWh capacity, targeting 6 GWh this fiscal year. The ₹3,500 crore gigafactory supports India’s EV battery localisation, attracting interest from financial investors and sovereign wealth funds.
