India’s Solar Module manufacturing capacity has soared to 100 GW, driven by PLI and ALMM schemes, says SBI Capital. Solar installations rose 60% in FY25 to 24 GW, needing about 50 GWdc of modules. However, the projected capacity of 190 GW by 2027 may exceed demand, sparking oversupply concerns.
