Odisha is exploring wind and tidal energy potential, leveraging its long coastline and rare earth minerals, deputy CM K V Singh Deo said. The state has identified nine promising wind project sites with an estimated 12,129 MW capacity. Under the 2022 Renewable Energy Policy, research will focus on biofuels, geothermal, tidal, and oceanic energies.
