NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam Limited (NVVN) has sought UPERC approval for tariffs for a 250 MW/1000 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) in Uttar Pradesh. Located at Garautha substation, Jhansi, the project under the Viability Gap Funding scheme will enhance grid reliability and renewable integration.
