NTPC awarded 1.2 GW of Wind-Solar hybrid Projects to EG Solwin (300 MW), Welspun Renewable Energy (250 MW), NLC India (450 MW), and Adani Renewable Energy (600 MW). The lowest tariff was Rs. 3.35/kWh, while Adani's project was allocated at Rs. 3.36/kWh. The tender, issued in August 2024, was finalized in seven months and includes a greenshoe option of up to 600 MW.
