NTPC conducted competitive bidding for 1200 MW ISTS-connected solar projects, discovering tariffs between ₹2.55/kWh and ₹2.60/kWh. Five successful bidders—Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (₹2.55/kWh), Onward Solar Power Private Limited (₹2.56–₹2.60/kWh range), Renew Solar Power Private Limited, Illuminate Hybren Private Limited, and Adyant Enersol Private Limited—were allocated a total of 720 MW capacity.
