NTPC REL Wins 1000 MW at Tariff ₹2.56 per kWh in Solar Auction

NTPC REL, a subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy won 1,000 MW in UPPCL Solar PV Power Project auction on January 3, 2025. The auction was for 2,000 MW of ISTS-connected Solar Projects. NTPC REL secured the capacity at a competitive tariff of ₹2.56 per kWh. The Letter of Award (LOA) from UPPCL is awaited.
