NTPC Renewable Energy Limited has invited bids for a 650 MVAr Static Var Generator (SVG) package supporting wind projects in Karnataka. The tender covers 200 MVAr at Halligudi, Gadag (378 MW) and 450 MVAr at Bellary (894 MW), with bidders allowed to quote for either or both blocks. Scope includes engineering, supply, installation, civil works, grid and HT cable integration, SCADA/PPC integration, commissioning, spares and three-year O&M, backed by a five-year warranty and 10-year AMC.
