Germany awarded 3.5GW in its latest onshore wind tender amid heavy oversubscription with 604 bids totaling 5.7GW. Of these, 376 bids won, totaling 3,448MW, while 25 were excluded. Award prices ranged from 6.39 to 6.64 ct/kWh, averaging 6.57 ct/kWh—down from the previous 6.83 ct/kWh. North Rhine-Westphalia, Lower Saxony, and Brandenburg secured the largest shares.
