NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NTPC REL) has invited bids for the EPC development of a 550 MW/2200 MWh ISTS-connected Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) at its Shimboo Ka Burj Solar Plant in Rajasthan. The project includes design, supply, installation, commissioning, and integration with an existing 550 MW solar plant.
