NTPC Green Energy Commissions 75.5 MW Khavda-I Project

NTPC Green Energy Ltd (NGEL) has commissioned 75.5 MW of solar capacity at the 1,255 MW Khavda-I project in Gujarat, developed under Tranche-III of the Phase-II CPSU Scheme. The new capacity, executed by NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd, raises NGEL’s total installed capacity to 7,639.075 MW. Implemented through the CPSU Scheme with viability gap funding, the project supports government-led solar expansion, with generated power used for self-consumption or supplied to designated off-takers across the national energy landscape
