NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL) and the New & Renewable Energy Development Corporation of Andhra Pradesh (NREDCAP) have formed a 50:50 joint venture, AP NGEL HARIT AMRIT LIMITED, registered on February 6, 2025. The venture will develop Renewable Energy projects (up to 25 GW), produce 0.5 MMTPA of Green Hydrogen, and build Pumped Hydro Storage (10 GW) in Andhra Pradesh.
