The Independent Planning Commission of New South Wales approved ACEN Australia’s 943 MW Valley of the Winds wind farm, including a 320 MW Battery Storage System. Despite public objections, the Commission deemed the site suitable and aligned with state energy goals. The AU$ 1.68 billion project will create 400 construction and 50 operational jobs.
