NLC India Limited has issued a global tender for a 250 MW/500 MWh battery energy storage system in Tamil Nadu, to be developed under EPC mode for its subsidiary NLC India Renewables. The project covers installation at three substations, includes evacuation infrastructure, and requires 12 years of operation and maintenance.
