Neoen has announced a 200 MW/496 MWh battery project in France, set to be the country’s largest, supporting the Île-de-France grid by 2028. The project will be connected to the RTE network, with Nidec supplying and maintaining the system. Neoen also marked its entry into Japan with a 100 MW/400 MWh BESS in Hyogo, in partnership with Equans and Toho.
