Namibia is negotiating a €500 million loan from the European Investment Bank at 3.5% interest with a five-year grace period to support its green hydrogen sector. The government’s strategy, developed with the Ministry of Finance, includes VAT exemptions, lower tariffs, and relaxed currency rules to reduce developer costs.
