The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) expanded the ALMM for solar modules by 9,326 MW, totaling 109,545 MW. India’s solar manufacturing capacity surpassed 100 GW in August 2025, rising from 2.3 GW in 2014. Emmvee Energy added a 2,229 MW TOPCon unit, increasing its capacity to 6,683 MW.
