Mercury NZ has taken a final investment decision on a NZ$506 million (US$297 million) expansion of its wind generation portfolio in New Zealand. The investment supports the company’s strategy to increase renewable electricity generation and meet growing demand. Mercury is progressing several wind, geothermal and energy-storage projects as part of its broader expansion plans.
