The Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory Commission has approved MSEDCL’s procurement of 780 MW Wind-Solar Hybrid Power from NTPC. Initially seeking 480 MW, MSEDCL later added 300 MW. The tariff ranges from ₹3.42–₹3.43/kWh, including a 7-paise trading margin. The commission found the tariff competitive and aligned with regulatory guidelines.
