Meghalaya Government has issued the Meghalaya Power Policy 2024. The policy promotes sustainable renewable energy development across the state. Meghalaya aims to achieve 100 MW of Solar and 82 MW of Wind energy by 2030. The policy also promotes Pumped Storage and Hydro Power development. Developers will benefit through waivers, exemptions, subsidies and incentives provided by the state government.
