Masdar, a UAE-based firm, is conducting a feasibility study for a 2 GW Wind Power plant in Uzbekistan’s Namangan region, planned in two phases. The first 1 GW phase costs under $500 million and includes 1.15 GWh of Standalone Energy Storage. A $2.6 billion agreement was signed in 2023 with Uzbek ministries.
