The Government of Maharashtra has signed a ₹10,217-crore MoU with Chambery Power Private Limited to develop the 2,100 MW Pimpalpada–Savale pumped storage project across Pune and Raigad districts. The project will help store surplus electricity and supply power during peak demand, supporting renewable energy integration.
