Madras High Court has granted an interim stay on TNGECL’s directive that put wind and solar projects in Tamil Nadu under abeyance due to alleged approval irregularities. The order impacts 226 solar projects (736.5 MW) and seven wind projects (400 MW). The petitioner argued the move was arbitrary and caused financial harm after significant investments.
