California-based battery startup Lyten raised $200 million to acquire Northvolt AB’s bankrupt Gdansk factory in Poland. The plant, idled earlier this year, will restart production using nickel-based cells from Northvolt, with customer deliveries expected by Q4 2025. Lyten plans to eventually shift to its lithium-sulfur battery technology.
