Terraspark, a Luxembourg-based startup, has raised over €5 million in pre-seed funding to advance space-based solar power technology. Founded in 2025, the company aims to beam solar energy from orbit using radio frequency transmission. It will begin with Earth-based wireless power pilots before scaling to space, targeting orbital demonstrations by 2027 and initial space-to-Earth transmission by 2028, addressing global energy demand, grid constraints, and reliability challenges.
