L&T’s Heavy Civil Infrastructure arm has secured a ₹2,500–5,000 crore contract from Torrent Energy Storage Solutions to construct the 3,000 MW Saidongar-1 Pumped Storage Project in Raigad, Maharashtra. The project will feature ten 300 MW units, with L&T handling design, engineering, and civil-hydro-mechanical execution.
